TAG Heuer Returns to Principality at the Monaco Grand Prix

In celebration of another Grand Prix, TAG Heuer returns to the Principality as the Official Watch of the fast lane since 2011. Having had close ties with Monaco throughout history, the Swiss watchmaker occupies its own special place each year.

Hosted on the Seadream yacht, TAG Heuer held their exclusive soiree much to everyone’s anticipation at this year’s Monaco Grand Prix. Guests during the glamorous rendez-vouz were the likes of five-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady and supermodel Bella Hadid. On the evening of the race, both stars dressed all in white and were accompanied by Miss Universe 2014 – Cadel Evans, Geri Halliwell, and Aston Martin F1 racer Daniel Ricciardo.

Before boarding the boat, Ricciardo accepted the challenge of catching a ball thrown at top speed by Tom Brady. Of course the young driver is keen to try new things. With the Australian driver over 30 metres away on another boat, Brady was sure to send the ball with extreme precision.

Celebrations continued into the night at the White Party, while guests let their hair down to the beats and sounds by DJ Martin Solveig.

As a weekend dedicated to sport and being an official sponsor TAG Heuer created a synergy between the guests and the drivers, by causing a sensation on the wrists of the girl girls and boys. Giving support to the drivers, fans were given exclusive access to be able to send their favourites a message via the TAG Heuer Instagram page. The most enthused messages were then relayed to the drivers on large screens and connected watches of the grid girls and boys.

In honour of the spectacular event three of TAG Heuer’s watches took centre stage. With a white rubber strap and the elegance of a fine wristwatch was the Connected Modular 45. The signature Chronograph of TAG Heuer was on display with their Carrera Heuer 01, a model known as the HEUER-01, that is often attained at a very high level of quality, as a sports watch. Lastly, their most unique design that starred on the silver screen alongside Steve McQueen in 1971, the Monaco Lady; today this is also available in a women’s version – ideal for your Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
