Amels Announces Sale of Another 242 at Monaco Yacht Show

Against the backdrop of the Monaco Yacht Show, Dutch shipyard AMELs have just announced the sale of yet another AMELS 242 which is expected to be delivered to her new owner by the middle of 2020. The sale was completed with Merle Wood & Associates representing the buyer, and this latest vessel will be completed with a stunning Tim Heywood exterior design and bespoke customisation for her new owner.

The Dutch shipyard delivered their first 242 model three years ago and since that time the design has become a true classic in her class. The 74 metre/242 foot yacht features a spacious 4,026 square foot/374 square metre private deck for her owners which is complemented by a stunning master suite and a dedicated spa area with a large swimming pool and 210 square foot/19.5 square metre fold-out beach platform ideal for taking a spontaneous dip in the sea.

Rutger Dolk who is part of AMELS’ commercial team commented that, “This yacht will once again show a different character to any of our previous AMELS Limited Editions deliveries. The ability to adapt the proven platform to the client’s wishes is why our Limited Editions approach is working so well. The extremely comfortable and quiet platform with renowned level of quality and combined with a fast delivery creates a very attractive proposition.”
