Where to Dine

If you haven’t already hit Nobu, then Nassau is the place to do it – making full use of the oceanic larder ensures the freshest Peruvian Japanese fusion you could wish for. The salmon nashi pear with truffle yuzu sauce is as playful and pretty as it sounds, and the conch ceviche captures the island spirit with every mouthful.

The Bond theme continues with dinner at the super sophisticated Café Martinique –  offering the same amazing setting (high ceilings, mahogany colors, and etched windows) as the café from the film Thunderball. The dinner menu is an elegant French affair with lashings of fresh fish dressed in almondine or braised fennel with a light sprinkle of lemon.

The Dutch owned Van Breugels makes for a divine place to dine for those who adore their plates served with fresh mojitos, low lighting, the sound of jazz and impeccable art work on the walls. The historical home is a fabulous setting for lambics, guava cheesecake, and beautifully blackened shrimp.
