The Videoworks Group has just unveiled their latest “on board high-tech solutions” at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show which was held over the 25th to 28th September. The company, which has offices in Ancona, Viareggio, Aalsmeer, and Fort Lauderdale, specialises in creating cutting-edge audiovisual, entertainment, lighting, and network systems for the superyacht industry.
The Monaco Yacht Show was the international debut for Videoworks’ Slim Audio Master (SAM) which has been specifically designed for enhanced performance while saving space onboard. The SAM has been jointly created by the R&D teams at Videoworks and Leaff. Highlights include up to 16 audio outputs with the ability to calibrate sound perfectly for each individual space. This system allows those onboard to enjoy an optimised audio experience wherever they happen to be on the yacht.
Amongst Videoworks’ other exciting new innovations is their “Sun In A Room” project which seeks to redefine the connection between the human world and nature while at sea. Videoworks has constructed a lighting system based on circadian rhythms which replicates the outside temperature and sunlight in a room thanks to special LED-lighting tiles. This effect helps to enhance the well-being of guests while onboard.
At Monaco the company also showed off their Party Pack which has been designed with the most demanding entertainment lovers in mind. The audio system includes small speakers that are capable of up to 110 dB and are enhanced by a RGB ceiling lighting system that synchronises with the music for the ultimate superyacht party experience.
Videoworks’ previous projects include the AV, SAT and home automation system onboard the 80 metre Columbus Yachts M/Y Dragon and full audiovisual, CCTV, IT and IP telephony systems on board the 50 metre Riva Yachts M/Y Race. The company has also worked on the 39.7 metre Extra 130 Alloy superyacht to equip the vessel with latest Apple TV 4K and Sonos audio system.
