The French Riviera

The Balearic Islands
The Balearic Islands are another playground for superyacht stars seeking tapas, sangria, and sunshine. The rugged landscapes, wealth of culture and fine cuisine are only a few draws of these historic islands. One of the must see Mediterranean event destinations of 2017 must be Palma where the annual superyacht show brings in fleets of big names in the industry at the start of May. Those who want to wait for warmer waters can make the sail from 21-24th June when the Palma Superyacht Cup Regatta raises its sails.
Sail away from the capital of Palma to hit up the rest of the dazzling Balearics and Spain. Discover the awe-inspiring architecture of Gaudi and a world class marina in Barcelona. Bag five-star VIP tables at the hottest beach clubs on the White Island of Ibiza and fill your little black book with prestigious numbers at the famous Nicki’s Bar. Those who want to see a little more of rural Spain with its bullfighting lore and flamenco sounds can jump in a private jet and hop across to Andalucía.
The Italian Riviera
Sip limoncello on sun drenched decks, catch the finest fresh seafood for your supper, and shop for butter soft leather and seasonal silk fashion with a superyacht charter to Italy. Some of the finest superyacht names hail from these lemon soaked lands. The World Superyacht Awards 2017 will be taking place in the renaissance city of Florence on the 13th May, so it’s worth hiring a supercar or taking a private jet to attend this illustrious event. Back on the Italian Riviera and the old favorites are as inviting as ever. Destinations Beyond the Blue
