The newly-refurbished space is suspended above the Bay of Kotor and offers spectacular views of the marina and the open sea. From June to September, the pool club caters exclusively to PYMC members, Porto Montenegro homeowners, marina guests, Regent Hotel guests and visiting VIPs. The pool area features day beds for up to 188 people, private shower cubicles and changing rooms, as well as a 20-seater lounge area that’s ideal for groups and parties. Throughout the elegant space, you’ll find bespoke comfort and style in the sophisticated palette of marine blues, beach whites and natural woods.
De Gustibus Seafood Restaurant
Sitting at the foot of the iconic pool is De Gustibus, an informal daytime restaurant that’s open to both PMYC members and the general public. The Italian-inspired restaurant features an elegant selection of fresh salads, seafood pastas and grilled fish made with locally-sourced ingredients and prepared in a refined yet casual manner. Add to the mix an impressive selection of international wines and expertly-mixed cocktails and you have the premier summer destination. Whether it’s an afternoon break over poolside classics or a romantic sunset on the rooftop terrace, De Gustibus provides perfectly straddles the line between upscale and laid-back.
Around the property, members also have exclusive access to a number of multifunctional spaces that are well-suited to a variety of needs. The meeting room with conference facilities is perfect for any presentations or screenings with space for up to 500 seated guests, whereas the member’s lounge offers a casual seating area that’s complete with coffee tables, a bar and private dining services. During your leisure time, you have options when it comes to entertainment spaces that span a mezzanine bar, rooftop restaurant, outdoor terraces and premium nightclub. The recent 2018 extension saw the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club add its own private beach facility with 1,500-square-meters of additional recreational space dotted with palm trees, bamboo and agapanthus. Decked out in soothing hues of nautical blue, beige and white, head to the main seating to find your slice of paradise with the choice of sun loungers, cabanas and hammocks, as well as a family zone with bean bags and beach bats. Elsewhere, you can take advantage of the large volleyball court that’s available on a first-come-first-serve basis. The beautiful space also features a waterfront bar and 40-seater sundeck that offers an extensive cocktail list and a selection of fresh Mediterranean dishes for a lighthearted meal during the day. After the sun goes down, the bar is transformed into a relaxed outdoor venue for al fresco drinks and entertainment, with themed parties and crew-friendly barbecues scheduled throughout the summer.
Open daily from 6 am to 10 pm, both residents and members can take full advantage of the vast sports facilities. In addition to the fully-equipped fitness center and cardio area, the club features four tennis courts, a squash court, a bowling alley and billiards, as well as an expansive list of instructor-led classes such as hot yoga, Zumba and pilates. In the evening, the outdoor beach gym offers a number of fitness classes where you can combine your fitness routine with the social fun of a group setting.
