The 2016 Monaco Yacht Show will again deliver the world’s most stunning display of superyachts this September, but there will also be an exciting new premiere auto show featuring Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Tesla, and luxury armored vehicles from Centigon.
Lamborghini announced the Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder cabriolet as their choice to display at the show. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Britain’s historic carmaker for the last 113 years, has selected to display the Dawn model for its youthful aesthetic appealing to younger guests. Tesla, by contrast established just a few short years ago in 2003, will present the Model S P90D, powered by an electronic powertrain promising both speed and performance. Centigon France, the world’s leading armored car supplier, will show the protected Range Rover Autobiography (+30 cm) along with the Mercedes Benz Class S550 (+65 cm), illustrating the range of security related capabilities they provide.
A 230-square meter indoor lounge bar will serve guests while viewing the ten or so models displayed in the prestige car exhibition zone. Yacht Show guests will be eligible to schedule a test drive or purchase the car of their choice while visiting Monaco.
Car makers have traditionally participated at the show by chauffeuring VIP guests and private clients from point to point, but this year will have their own spotlight to showcase their most highly sought after models. The Car Deck gives automakers the opportunity to join with the yachting companies to attract new attendees to this ultra-high end show lining the docks and quays at Port Hercules.
