It’s Monterey Car Week, and the Concours d’Elegance is shining its high beams on two exciting Bugatti models. The Chiron and Vision Gran Turismo are scheduled to appear together, creating a new first at the Pebble Beach event.
On Fri., Aug. 19, 2016, Bugatti will show off The Chiron at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering, in preparation for series production at its Molsheim, France facility. Since its premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show, more than 200 of the 1500 PS power output vehicles are already spoken for, with delivery beginning in autumn. The lush golf course setting at The Quail Lodge & Golf Club on the Monterey Peninsula will also concurrently host the 19th Annual Bonhams Motorcar Auction on its western grounds.
On Sun., Aug. 21, 2016, the passion of Play Station’s Gran Turismo Sport video game will display its Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept car, translating Bugatti’s powerful new design language from game console to reality at the Concours d’Elegance Pebble Beach. Staring directly into the face of the future, Bugatti aficionados first got a wide-eyed peek at the Vision Gran Turismo through game consoles, anticipating the arrival of Vision’s dominant frequency and distinctive growl. The Vision then premiered at the Frankfort Motor Show, further inspiring fans with its fast, functional, sexy lines in three dimensions.
