Class, heritage, prestige and luxury, these are the traits that are normally associated with the Rolls Royce brand. It represents the pinnacle of what bespoke luxury cars are supposed to be. They are what set the standard for the ultimate automotive vehicle. Thus it was befitting that they unveiled their line-up of cars in one of the most upcoming luxurious destinations in the world, Dubai.
Rolls Royce came well prepared and was ready to show off new entrants as well as revamped special editions to the budding market of the Middle East. This included Phantom Coupé Tiger, Ghost Golf and Wraith as well as the first appearance of the new Dawn. All the cars were dressed to impress showing up with vibrant colours such as Brooklands Green, Desert Dune, Burnt Orange, Lyrical Copper and Midnight Sapphire.
The most anticipated reveal was that of the Dawn. This new creation from the British automaker is set to create ripples throughout the segment of ultra luxury motoring. The Dawn offers the most exclusive open top four passenger experience that is currently available in the market. The uniqueness of the Dawn can be seen through the design where it has nearly 80% new body panels as compared to the rest of the line-up. Meticulous attention to detail can be followed to the tires, which are new for the Dawn.
The Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe Tiger draws its mass attention through its name which in turn describes the design and inspiration for the car. This one of a kind edition car features a two tone Burnt Orange and Arizona Sun exterior, significant of the auburn-toned fur of the magnificent creature, highlighted with a Tiger motif twin coachline.
Another special edition on display was the Bespoke Ghost Golf Edition. The name has the details of the car spoken for by itself. The Golf was conceptualized by AGMC, the sole dealers of Rolls Royce in the majority of UAE. The car is a real life render of the fairways of the gentlemen’s sport. The paint theme that was used on this car is of the Brooklands Green and Desert Dune pallet. This was a representation of the lush golf courses that reside against the dunes of the Arabian Desert. The car has various golf related inspired features such as door pockets that are lined with tartan and cross banded Mahogany veneers.
The final showcase for the Rolls Royce stall at the Dubai Motor Show is the Wraith ‘Inspired by Music’. This specific model sees the use of the materials such as copper to create an environment that was reminiscent of an exclusive music studio. The car features a bespoke music system as well as other features that hint a studio influence theme to the car such as the redesigned speaker grills that have a copper theme to them to reflect the use of the metal in expensive audio equipment.
Overall, Rolls Royce has shown that it is able to cater to all markets and all niches no matter how demanding they may be. It proves itself to be a bespoke luxury automobile maker.
