Sanlorenzo SL78: Press Review and Cannes Debut

Sanlorenzo is celebrating its new 78-foot version entry level megayacht with a press preview scheduled on the eve of the Cannes Yacht Show, Sept. 5, 2016. The world premiere of the SL78 will begin with a cocktail reception and media event followed by a gala dinner at Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap D’Antibes.

The evening will be followed by the opening of the Cannes Yachting Festival to be held Sept. 6-11, 2016, in Le Vieux Port and the Port Pierre Canto on the French Riviera. The made-to-measure yacht builder has established itself as a high quality boutique yacht builder, catering to individual preferences with a 5-stage customization process, listening carefully to each customer’s needs and wishes.

The SL78 incorporates several features expected to continue throughout the series, including bulwarks lowered to window bases to make the most of both natural lighting and beautiful views. A stunning staircase, suspended between the Fly bridge and saloon, is wrapped with glass and designed as a functional work of art. Customers will be able to choose between 2 or 3 staterooms, with a full beam master suite below decks. A tender garage allows more space on the sun deck, making the most of that prime yacht real estate.

Created in the Montemarcello-Magra natural reserve, and produced in the superyacht capital of Viareggio, Sanlorenzo limits their customers to just 30 each year to insure each build is properly attended. The Global Order Book ranked them second among the top 20 builders of yachts over 24 meters for 2016.
