Over the years GMC has made a notable and impressive transition from being the iconic American truck company to an automobile brand that has an impressive line of SUVs. The GMC Yukon Deli is the latest addition to its fleet. Cadillac on the other hand has been the ever so sturdy and impressive American car company. With Cadillac Escalade, it has a definite strong contender to go up against the GMC Yukon Denali.

Here is a brief comparison of the cars based on performance, power & appearance.

2017 Cadillac Escalade

2017 Cadillac Escalade MSRP: From $73,395

Performance & Power

Both cars are pretty similar when it comes to their engines and power generated. While Yukon has a base version with different configurations, the comparable version has a 420-hp 6.2 ltr V8 engine which is the same with Escalade. Both cars accelerate pretty similar as well as they can go from 0-60 mph in nearly 5.8 seconds. The cars also have the same top speed of around 112 mph. However, the mileage that Cadillac Escalade offers is slightly better than what you can get from GMC Yukon Denali.

2017 GMC Yukon Denali

2017 GMC Yukon Denali MSRP: From $65,965

Inner Cabin & Appearance

The external dimensions for both cars are pretty identical. While the Escalade has a little bit more bling as compared to the Yukon Denali, Denali is definitely the lighter vehicle and is also priced more competitively. Even the base price of the Cadillac Escalade is much higher than the upgraded versions of the GMC Yukon Denali. The Denali further scores over Escalade with the former being able to seat 9 passengers while Escalade has a capacity of only 7. However, Cadillac Escalade seems to have the edge when it comes to inner cabin features with a host of options not available with Denali.

Overall, both cars are pretty identical and competitive but for the massive price advantage and a much better capacity, the GMC Yukon Denail may hold an edge of the Cadillac Escalade.
