Dovetailing the exquisite engineering, technology, and craftsmanship of Britain’s favorite luxury car brand with a passion for fine equipment and luxurious appointments by Mulliner, the Bentley Bentayga Fly Fishing SUV gives several new reasons to head down to the river. Bentley’s bespoke coachbuilder Mulliner has crafted an exquisite set up for a fly fishing outing that does everything but cast the fly.
Four leather-trimmed rod tubes stitched with linen are tucked under the parcel shelf. Landing nets are stored in matching leather pockets built into the boot. Three handsome units, a master tackle station, a refreshment case, and a waterproof water stowage trunk lined with neoprene, are all trimmed in leather and stitched with linen. Removable should the luggage situation warrant, the units are also quilted on top for use as seating. The tackle station boasts a burr walnut veneered drawer and includes a tying vise, tools, cotton, hooks, and feathers. Beneath are four reel cases, machined from solid aluminum and trimmed in linen stitched saddle leather. Three metal flasks, fine china tableware, and separate food storage finish the list in fine style.
Not just any SUV, a wide range of settings for both on and off road driving includes multi-mode air suspension, electric power assist steering, Drive Dynamics Mode, and an impressive driver panel that shows pitch, roll, wheel articulation, steering angle, compass bearing, and altitude on the dash.
Electronic dehumidification ensures the interior stays high and dry, while welcome lights shine brightly from below when doors are opened, projecting Bentley and Mulliner logos on the ground, or a personalized image, for the ultimate fly fishing ride.
