Are you looking to discover Porto Montenegro? Immersed in unspoiled beauty, vast nature and clean, clear waters, the glamorous town was designed specifically with the refined yachting lifestyle in mind. The eureka moment was born from an overwhelming demand for yacht berths around the Mediterranean and Adriatic. This led to the transformation of a centuries-old Yugoslavian naval shipyard into a 450-berth marina to satisfy the shortage, while an entire waterfront residential village and premium real estate offerings were erected around it.

Now, the dazzling marina village houses world-class restaurants with international flavors, serene spas, international designer boutiques and glamorous apartments, earning the nickname of the “New Monaco” as an exclusive hideaway among superyacht owners, billionaire visitors and jet-set travelers. We’ve curated an exclusive 7-day experience that allows you to discover Porto Montenegro with all its mesmerizing natural and cultural charms.

It provides a rare opportunity to experience the very best that Porto Montenegro and the enchanting Bay of Kotor have to offer. Choose between a three and seven-day itinerary, the latter designed in conjunction with Yachting Lifestyle 365 specifically for the U.S. traveler interested in learning more about the marina village as a vacation destination and its real estate options.

Our seven-day itinerary is designed to immerse you in the refined yachting lifestyle of the village and its leisurely pleasures. At the same time, this humble Adriatic gem is surrounded by sandy shores, enchanting islands, secret coves and charming harbors alongside unique historical sites, meaning the activities and excursions are endless. Home to two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Montenegro is enjoying its renaissance as a tourist destination and, whilst the world awakes to the charms of this tiny Balkan state, strict governmental controls ensure that development remains limited and the country’s diverse landscape is well protected.

Following this, there will be a private boat waiting for you, which will take you on a tour of the Bay of Kotor alongside our knowledgeable guide. The tour eventually leads to the spectacular Our Lady of the Rocks Island, which was created by bulwark of rocks and by sinking old and seized ships loaded with stones. Enjoy our complimentary picnic basket for two and enjoy the marvelous views of the bay. In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity for a BioFit session at the PMYC’s outdoor gym.  Set to the picturesque backdrop of the waterfront, the fully-equipped 800sqm space is where residents work alongside personal coaches or partake in various group fitness classes. In the morning, you’re offered an activity of your choice, including stand-up paddling, archery, golf, croquet or lawn games. Following lunch, you’ll have an afternoon of complete leisure time. You can choose to explore the wonderful marina village and its collection of shops, restaurants and activities, or perhaps head to nearby Kotor or Budva Riviera, two nearby Montenegrin gems with their own mesmerizing medieval charms. Heading Out from the Marina

Day 4

On the next day, a private speed boat will be waiting to bring you to the nearby Savina Monastery, which sits at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor. Not only will you have the opportunity to dive into the unique local heritage of the region, but the area is also home to sun-soaked vineyards that continue to bear fruit, much like they did back in the 18th century. At our exquisite wine tasting, you’ll enjoy the carefully selected grapes, which are nurtured in French oak barrels in the estate cellars, as well as a traditional Mediterranean platter. After some more leisure time, we’ll be gathering for evening dinner at Murano Restaurant, the signature restaurant of the Regent Hotel Porto Montenegro.

Sveti Stefan Island

Day 5

One of Montenegro’s most gorgeous highlights is Sveti Stefan Island, a fortified village that dates back more than 500 years. Surrounded by crystal clear waters, the island harbors atmospheric cobbled roads, handsome courtyards and hand-restored stone buildings – all contributing to its unmistakable charm. After you’ve explored the island, we’ll stop for lunch at Villa Milocer, the popular restaurant of Aman Sveti Stefan. Once the summer residence of Queen Marija Karadjordjevic, the beachfront restaurant offers lovely views of the sea, forests and landscapes in the distance, while providing the very best of Montenegro’s local produce in an open-air setting. Enjoy time at leisure for the rest of the day.

Ivanov Konak

Day 6

Day six brings another opportunity to get a taste of the many gems that lie within close proximity to Porto Montenegro. We’ll begin the day with a visit to the nearby town of Cetinje, which is the Old Royal Capital of Montenegro. Steeped in medieval charm, the town continues to harbor the architecture and grandeur of its prominence in the 1500s. You’ll be able to enter both the alluring monastery and King Nikola’s Palace, two of Montenegro’s most dazzling historic sites.

There’s no better place to enjoy an authentic northern Montenegrin lunch than at Ivanov Konak. Treat yourself to homemade cuisine, either within the traditionally decorated interior that’s centered around two fireplaces, or the scenic outdoor terrace offers expansive views of the surrounding area. Following this, we’ll set off for Lovcen National Park with a private guide and driver, where you’ll be able to witness a completely different side of Montenegro’s natural beauty.

Infinity Pool Yacht Club

Day 7

On the day of your departure, you’ll be given a full-access daily pass to the Porto Montenegro Yacht Club, where you can spend your last hours in paradise lounging by the pool, sunbathing along the private stretch of beach, or using the various sports facilities. When it’s time to head back, you’ll have a VIP transfer to the airport.
