A super tight turnaround doesn’t mean that AMELS cut corners when it came to the fourth delivery of their limited edition custom yacht. It’s only been 12 months since the sale, but beautiful 55-meter LILI is ready for the sweet summer season.
Imperial brokered the deal in May 2016, and the owner worked closely with AMELS interior design team along with the exterior design expert Tim Heywood to curate the custom features which included a unique color scheme, generous swimming pool, extended sundeck and bridge deck VIP suite with an extended aft deck. The owner decided on Laura Sessa to complete the interior design work and the AMELS paint team went to work to deliver a beautiful and elegant finish.
Rose Damen, the AMELS Commercial Director is clearly proud of the finished product: “Even though she shares the pedigree of the AMELS’ high value quality and finish, LILI is very different to any other AMELS 180 we have delivered to date. Offering our clients such a high level of customisation in such a short time scale is only possible working at the top of our game with complete mastery of the project management and production process. Of course, smooth communication with the Owners team is critical and we have a long-standing productive and close collaboration with IMPERIAL.”
LILI is clearly a feat of engineering and a thing of beauty. Her outdoor luxury space offers an impressive 175 square meters, and the extra-large sundeck pool offers counter current jets perfect for swimming. Other innovative design features include the sliding doors to the dining room on the main deck, which offers a bright and breezy feel to the interior. The main deck also boasts a large VIP suite with a private folding balcony, along with six suites scattered throughout the custom-built boat.
As LILI awaits her maiden voyage in Norway, she comes ready and equipped with a crew of 12 and a captain.
