Benetti has proudly delivered their first Delfino 95 yacht to her new Czech owner with a ceremony in the Italian city of Viareggio. Coming hot on the heels of the Delfino 93 which it is set to replace, the Delfino 95 builds on its popular predecessor’s design while adding increased living space and greater use of glass. Benetti General Manager Christos Ramnialis commented,“The Delfino 95 follows on from a series of major successes for Benetti. It is a product that retains the winning features of previous models, adding to them unprecedented innovations and points of view.”
Named “Christella II”, the 28.95 metre/95 foot GRP and carbon fibre yacht boasts a sporty exterior styling by Italian designer Giorgio Cassetta. The interior styling was taken on by Petra Karaskova who worked alongside the Benetti design team. The sumptuous decor uses fine Eramosa marble, leather panelling and prime Canaletto walnut for the woodwork. Christella II also features a state-of-the-art lighting system created by British company Aqualuce.
Guest accomodation is split over two deck with the spacious owner’s cabin which is nearly 7 metres wide and 3.2 metres long on the main deck plus two double and two twin cabins on the lower deck. There is also capacity for five liveaboard crew members.
Other amenities include the roomy garage which has capacity for a 4.4o metre tender, a sun lounge on the upper deck with an alfresco dining area and a large sun deck equipped with sofas. Christella II is powered by two 1000 hp engines that give her a top speed of 14.5 knots and a range of 2400 nautical miles.
