The Fast Series by Benetti, so rightly named is by no surprise built for speed. Number four in the series after Ironman, Constance Joy and Skyler, was delivered this month to her new owner and is to be named Lejos3.
At 125’(38m), this sleek beauty cruises at a max speed of 22 knots powered by 2 x MTU v12 2000 series 2,636hp diesel engines. The Rolls-Royce AZPC65 Azipull Carbon thruster propulsion system is significant in that it served as the basis by which the Fast series was built around. These light weight and high power density thrusters provide propulsion, excellent maneuvering capabilities and low drag.
The D2P Displacement to Planing hull designed together by Pierluigi Ausonio and the Azimut Benetti R&D center is yet another innovation found aboard. Thanks to the wave piercer, the yacht benefits from reduced consumption and improved comfort whether traveling at lower speeds in displacement mode or when ramping it up in planing mode.
A look inside the new Legos3, we see the work of Redman Whiteley Dixon Interiors. The style is based on Benetti’s Air configuration, a very contemporary and minimalist look which easily complements the sleek and sporty exterior by Stefano Righini.
The Owner’s Suite can be found on the main deck just forward of the salon whereas the four guest VIP cabins are found just below. With space for 7 crew, the owner and guests can rest assured that their every need will be attended to.
With no shortage of exterior space for guests to lounge and soak up the sun, the choice of four decks, 2 Jacuzzi pools, and an oversized Beach club leaves them spoiled for options.
