Benetti is celebrating the launch of their ninth Benetti Crystal 140’ hull to date which hit the water at their Viareggio facility back in June and has been given the name Skyler by her new owner. The 140 foot/42 metre-long Crystal was introduced back in 2011 as Benetti’s flagship in their Classic superyacht series and boasts elegant exterior styling courtesy of Stefano Righini. Her design has proven very popular with owners thanks to the versatile and roomy layout that has been thoughtfully curated with socialising and entertaining in mind.

In total Skyler offers four decks packed with amenities and airy communal spaces that make living aboard for extended periods or simply hosting family and friends a stress-free operation. Her five guest cabins can receive up to 12 overnight guests with four comfortable bedrooms on the lower deck and a handsome full-beam master suite located on the main deck which boasts 180-degree views of the sea thanks to the large window panels. She can also accommodate up to seven crew members.

For family gatherings or quality time with friends, owners can take advantage of the large main deck living areas which are ideal for dining al fresco or enjoying an evening celebration with cocktails and canapes. Those with younger children will also love the huge beach club area which is completely unobstructed thanks to the clever garage with a side entrance to avoid disturbing guests when access is needed to the tender or water toys.

Her new owner remarked that, “The success of this project is a perfect example of everything Benetti represents as a brand worldwide, and it bears witness to the extraordinary quality of the products built by the shipyard. It will be a pleasure for me to navigate this yacht the world over, showing it off with pride.”
