Renowned Italian builder Benetti is set to deliver hull number two (BM002) of the Mediterraneo series by October 30. Part of the Class displacement range, the fiberglass and carbon fiber built boat measures 116’ (35.3m) with a 25’ (7.7m) beam and 7’1”(2.15m) draft.
With accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins and 7 crew in 4 cabins, this tri-deck vessel packs in features and functionality traditionally only found on larger vessels.
Her clean lines accentuated by large windows give a sense of calm, space and airiness. The interior for project BM002 was designed by the shipyard Interior Style Department in partnership with the Owners own preferred designer. Together they delivered an interior which combines comfort and open spaces filled with light, dressed in glazed surfaces and a crystal glass door.
The exterior design by Giorgio Maria Cassetta is sleek and streamlined. The decks contain the usual sun loungers, sofas, deck chairs and armchairs. The sun deck offers a spacey 80 square meters of unobstructed surface space measuring almost 16 metres long, more than enough space to comfortably unroll 8 Yoga mats and successfully master a downward dog pose or two.
Down in the engine room, two CAT ACER C32 Rating D (1600hp @2300 rpm) propel this 200 ton vessel to a top speed of 15 knots or a comfortable cruising speed of about 14 knots. Electric fin stabilizer ensure a comfortable experience whether at anchor or while underway.
Deals have already been signed for Hull numbers 3 and 4 which means we haven’t heard or seen the last of this appealing design.
