Building on a reputation for combining chic and comfortable accommodation, US-based superyacht builder Hodgdon Yachts has upgraded the Limousine Venetian Series, with the 2018 release of its 6.5m tender version.
The mini-version takes the tender series into new waters having previously ranged from 8.5 meters to 12 meters. It retains the many standout features of the larger tenders.
Designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design, this is the smallest limousine tender on the market today and is ideal for superyachts in the 50m range.
Catering for up to eight guests, the deceptively-spacious tender has a luxury heat and air-conditioned cabin, and large glass panels in the roof to generate as much natural light as possible.
Powered by a Volvo D3-220 diesel engine, speeds of up to 35 knots are comfortably handled. Stainless steel handrails, a roof hatch, and port and starboard bulwark doors allow for safe side aft boarding.
“Being able to offer a limousine tender of this size that’s comfortable, luxurious, quiet, and handles so well is exciting,” said Audrey Hodgdon, director of sales and marketing. “Now superyachts with small tender bays or limited space on deck have the option to carry a high-quality Hodgdon limousine tender.”
Hodgdon Yachts has been equally successful with its popular 10.5m tender, which features chic leather and wood veneer interiors, a high definition entertainment system, and accommodations for up to 11 guests.
The 10.5m tender’s port and starboard windows power down enabling easy access, while thoughtful design ensures 360° visibility. Hodgdon fuses flawless stainless steel hardware with flashes of brilliance and meticulous safety systems.
Once on board, guests will be overawed by the luxury levels, while the ride is smooth and quiet, just as Hodgdon Yachts would want it.
