New Launch

Construction of the Burger 50 Cruiser Gets Underway

Construction has just begun on the Burger Boat Company‘s newest project, the Burger 50 Cruiser. The sleek yet sturdy yacht is being built in collaboration with Vripack Naval Architects and yacht interior design expert Luiz de Basto of De Basto Designs. The yacht is currently available for purchase and her future owner will be able to put their own stamp on her interior and exterior spaces with custom finishes and furnishings.

The new yacht will be powered by twin 600hp Volvo Penta D8-IPS800 engines and she will also feature Vripack’s cutting-edge Slide Hull® design giving her a cruising speed of 26 knots and a top speed of approximately 31 knots. According to Burger, the special hull design has many benefits since “the vessel does not dive deep into the waves but ‘cushions’ onto the water surface, thus reducing the pitching motion.” Her comfortable and spacious interiors will include a pair of ensuite staterooms and spacious spaces ideal for relaxing and entertaining with friends and family. A particular highlight is a large saloon, which makes for the ideal spot to watch the sunset while sipping on an aperitif or simply enjoying a movie night.

The owner of this stunning new yacht will also be invited to join Burger’s Burger Care® program which gives Burger yacht owners round-the-clock support. Owners have direct access to a representative of the shipyard should they need assistance with dockage, cleaning, oil changes, or even more major requirements such as engine overhauls.

“This yacht will be a sparkling example of Burger’s shipbuilding heritage,” commented Jim Ruffolo, president and CEO, Burger Boat Company. “The Burger 50 Cruiser is everything an owner is looking for in a yacht. Luxury, style, comfort, modern technology and an heirloom to share with family and friends for a lifetime of adventures.”
