Stylish Italian Living Onboard Riva’s Flagship 110ft Elysium

Bringing a touch of refined Italian charm to the charter market in 2019 is Riva’s brand-new 110-foot/33.5-meter  M/Y Elysium. Part of the esteemed Ferretti group, Riva has been crafting gorgeous yachts for over a century and their latest flagship design is testimony to their attention to detail and commitment to understated luxury. Elysium was launched in 2019 and boasts some seriously good looks, designed and curated by the Riva team in collaboration with Officina Italiana Design.

Standout exterior spaces include her gorgeous flybridge which houses a panoramic sundeck complete with hardtop protection and the sleek pilothouse which gives her captain excellent visibility when cruising. Her extended foredeck is equipped with ample sunpads and loungers for spending quality time relaxing with family and friends. There’s also a charming formal al fresco dining area on the main deck which is the ideal spot to enjoy a celebratory dinner under the stars or indulge in a little entertaining. For those who have a more active charter experience in mind, Elysium has been fitted with the Ferretti Group’s innovative and unique submersible transom which allows incredibly easy and safe access to her ample selection of water toys.

Elyisum’s finely-chiselled good looks continue in her interior spaces which are bathed in glorious natural light thanks to the large windows and use of light-hued furnishings and glass-topped tables to reflect even more light into the room. Her main saloon opens out onto the aft deck lounge space and is the perfect retreat after a busy day of sightseeing and exploring, with plenty of sofas, a large retractable TV, and a dedicated formal dining area with space for 11 guests and bar. There is also a baby grand piano in case you feel like some light evening entertainment or even just showing off your musical talents.

When you do finally retire for the night, you’ll discover a range of ensuite cabins that make Elysium reminiscent of a floating luxury villa rather than a yacht. Exuding comfort and sophistication, Elysium’s five guest suites can receive up to 11 overnight guests and have been tastefully decorated in gentle neutral hues set off by dark woods and soft, tactile furnishings. The highlight is her majestic master suite with large windows, king-sized bed, extensive wardrobe space and a stunning marble and hardwood-finished bathroom furnished with his and hers washbasins. Her other guest suites consist of two double and two twin cabins with an extra Pullman berth in one of the twin cabins to accommodate families with young children or larger groups. A large screened window in the shower ensures you can enjoy plenty of natural light in the bathroom and views out onto the sea while maintaining a high level of privacy.

Elysium will be available to charter in 2019 in selected Mediterranean hotspots including the French Riviera, Corsica and Sardinia. Charter rates start at $119,500 (€105,000) per week plus expenses for both the summer and winter cruising seasons.
