Italian shipyard Wider is celebrating the launch of their flagship motor yacht named “Project Cecilia” in Ancona. The 49.98 metre/139.98 foot aluminum yacht is the second Wider yacht to be launched following the launch of the 46 metre Wider 150 named Bartali which was delivered to her owner last year.

Her sleek exterior design and her interior styling are the work of Italian superyacht designer Fulvio de Simoni who collaborated with Wider’s in-house team throughout the build. The result is an elegant silhouette which will give her a unique look on the water and a bright, breezy interior finished with the finest marbles, leathers and woods from Italy and beyond.

In line with Wider’s philosophy of connecting guests as closely as possible with the water, Project Cecilia boasts large windows throughout her interior spaces, balconies that open out from her side and generous outdoor entertaining and lounge spaces on her decks. Highlights include a spacious beach club with an indoor swimming pool that converts into a submersible tender garage, a fully-equipped gym and sauna room, and a helipad and jacuzzi on her foredeck.

Her interior layout has been designed to accommodate up to 12 guests in two VIP suites, two twin cabins and her large master suite on the main deck which has its own private fold-out balcony. She also has capacity for up to 11 crew members in her crew quarters on the lower deck.

Project Cecilia is powered by a diesel electric propulsion system with two 531kW electric motors which give her a top speed of 14 knots. At a comfortable cruising speed of 10 knots she has a range of 5,400 nautical miles and she can also cruise silently at 5 knots using her batteries.

Project Cecilia is currently for sale for 30 million and she will be ready for delivery to her new owner this summer.
