Sleek and sturdy, Cosmo Explorer’s 50m I-Nova is an elegant, friendly, ice-class motor yacht, capable of extreme travel. The broad, 9.5m beam gives her a strength of line, while her grey hull and white superstructure give her a chic appearance from the sophisticated Italian hand of the Cristiano Gatto Design Team.
I-Nova accommodates 12 guests in six cabins, graciously served by 12 crew. The owner’s suite is a large, full-beam stateroom with lobby. His and hers en suite baths, steam shower, wardrobe, office, and private stair to an owner’s lounge make the quarters especially luxurious. A second VIP cabin on the upper deck also boasts en suite bath with wardrobe. Four additional staterooms on the upper deck include two doubles and two twins, all well appointed with sophisticated fabrics, colors and surfaces similar to the owner’s suite.
Contrasting the creams and honeys of the fabrics, carpets, and linens, the tans and chocolates of the Wenge, teak, Kauri, and bamboo woods prepare the eye for pleasing contrast. Expanses of white upholstery, with perfect poufs of brilliance in pillows and art, provide inviting and luxurious places to lounge about the saloons and al fresco spaces with contemporary appeal. Broad, open deck spaces give the yacht an exceptional outdoor feel, especially in alfresco dining areas and on the sun deck with Jacuzzi, sun pads, and gym.
Entertaining in the main saloon is most elegant providing service on a large modern table with cleanly upholstered white chairs, enhanced with a panoramic view. Adventurous, large format photos of the world’s most challenging environments accent the modern décor, with curved wood tables, comfortable, opulent lounge areas, and large flat screen viewing.
The I-Nova hull bow is heavily reinforced by steel plates protecting propellers, sea chests, rudders, and steering systems. A sea water cooling system completes the requirements for the ABS D0 Ice Classification.
Stately and strong, yet chic and inviting, I-Nova’s interiors boast an understated luxury with exquisite touches. I-Nova’s ice-class status will make her worthy of any pleasure voyage one can imagine, taking on chilly itineraries with ease, and giving warmer weather ample opportunity to attract guests outdoors on her large decks and alfresco spaces.
Constructed at the Mega Technica Shipyards, I-Nova was launched on Oct. 3, 2011, in Perama, Greece. The solid result of an owner wanting a strong, beautiful yacht, employing the design talents of Cristiano Gatto, resulted in this first ever product from the new, exciting Cosmo Explorer brand.
