The 22-year-old Lürssen masterpiece Coral Island is preparing for her second debut after undergoing a fresh refit, emerging as Coral Ocean. A perfect example of timeless Jon Bannenberg style and design, dovetailed with Lürssen quality, Coral Ocean’s polished new image will deliver a contemporary version of the clean-lined hull and transformed Polynesian interior at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show this September.
First launched in 1994, Coral Ocean has led a private, pampered life with meticulous maintenance. Avoiding the spotlight up to the refit, she will be the focus of media for the first time ever at the Monaco show, displaying her chic, beach style interior and peak-of-art technology.
Lürssen’s precise German craftsmanship responded well to the contemporary hand of design, creating a posh luxury yacht with the appearance and performance of a new build. With five shipyards equipped with covered sheds and docks, and 1800 skilled engineers, naval architects, and craftsmen, Lürssen’s refit capabilities are without question. The yard completed refits of eight yachts between 40 and 110 meters during the 2015-2016 winter season alone.
Plan to visit Lürssen this year at the Monaco Yacht Show, where they will maintain their regular stand position outside on T-Dock, reinforced by a dedicated, air-conditioned Yacht Service stand in the Antoine 1er A tent. Staffed by knowledgeable professionals, Lürssen’s most valued yacht experts will be positioned to attend to guests with questions about the repair and refit process, as well as those interested in new projects and conversions.
