A New Breed Of Expedition Yacht: Onboard Cantiere delle Marche’s 110ft Narvalo

Launched in 2016 by Italian expedition yacht specialists Cantiere delle Marche, the 110ft/33.4m Narvalo‘s light, breezy design touches and wealth of luxurious amenities make her the ideal base for an active summer adventure in the Med. She’s truly a new breed of expedition yacht with model-worthy good looks and stunning interior styling work by Nauta Yachts which combines sumptuous furnishings with bright white finishes and pops of intense azure blue. The centrepoint is the stunning glass-encased grand staircase which connects each of the three floors while flooding the space with light.

As soon as you step aboard you’ll be awed by the gorgeous outdoor deck spaces which total over 538 square ft/50 square meters. The sundeck is the perfect spot to hang out and watch the sun go down, take a dip in the Jacuzzi, or grab a seat at the custom-built bar for a glass of chilled Champagne or a cocktail made just for you by the talented staff. There’s even a movable 44-inch TV screen which can convert the space into an impromptu al fresco movie theater for a fun night in with all the family. For those who fancy a little more adventure, why not check out the onboard gym equipment and the submersible swim platform in the aft where you can enjoy a dip followed by a much-deserved rest in the sea-level lounge. Narvalo is equipped with a 5 meter tender for shore excursions and a vast array of water toys such as jet skis, Seabobs, GoCycle bikes, and kayaks to keep both the kids and the adults entertained. Her impressive range of 5000 nautical miles also means that you’re free to explore as you please, dropping in at hotspots like Cannes and Nice for a spot of shopping and lunch before heading off to secluded beaches and bays for an afternoon of water sports and dining under the clear Mediterranean skies.

Her stunning interior design continues in the guest suites which are all furnished with stunning pale oaks, Italian leathers, and the finest quality bedding, and boast large windows to maximize natural light. In total Narvalo can receive up to 12 overnight guests in her five dedicated cabins which include three doubles and two twin rooms which both have convertible Pullman beds ideal for younger children. The highlight is the expansive master suite on her main deck which boasts a separate office for catching up on business while you’re away and his and hers ensuites. Narvalo’s interior spaces have around 20% additional volume compared to other yachts of her size, and the communal areas offer plenty of space to socialise, spend quality time with family and friends, or entertain guests while the crew take care of every detail.

Narvalo’s charm has already been noted by the superyacht community, with the vessel awarded Best Interior at the International Superyacht Society Awards 2016 and the Special Award for Quality and Value at the World Superyacht Awards 2017 for her pocket explorer yacht design which combines stunning styling and excellent amenities. Narvalo is currently available for charter in the Mediterranean from $122,500 (€110,000) per week plus expenses, and will also be available for charter this winter in the Caribbean.
