Construction of NBA player Tony Parker’s 111.5ft (34m) Infinity Nine yacht is approaching the final stages ahead of the planned March 2021 launch. Built by the AvA Yachts firm in Antalya, the yacht will be the second hull in the Kando 110 series with the exterior and interior design as well as the naval engineering all handed by the shipyard’s in-house team.
Parker has taken a keen interest in the construction process, visiting the Antalya shipyard several times with his advisory team to watch as his brand-new yacht slowly takes shape. AvA Yachts have now completed the hull and superstructure with the final coating of the hull now in progress. The team has also begun the interior fit-out across her four decks including the four guest cabins and 95 sqft (29 sqm) owner’s suite which will enjoy plenty of natural light thanks to the floor to ceiling windows.
Other highlights onboard will include a large swim platform, 150 sqft (45 sqm) full-beam main lounge, dedicated gym for Parker to maintain his regular fitness regime. Tony Parker and his guests will also be able to enjoy plenty of outside living space with ample sunbathing areas across her deck and a very large partially-covered flybridge with a jacuzzi. Equipped with Volvo-Penta Commercial Marine Engines, Infinity Nine will have a range of 6600 nautical miles cruising at 12 knots and a top speed of 14 knots.
“It is always a pleasure to welcome Mr. Parker and his team to the yard and for us to be able to show in-process the detail, care, attention and quality that is the hallmark of an AvA Yachts yacht,” said Atilla Küçükdiker, Chairman and Founder of Ava Yachts. We are proud and confident that Mr. Parker will have the yacht of his dreams and that M/Y Infinity Nine will be a pleasurable ownership experience for him and his family.”
