Benetti has just launched their longest-ever superyacht with a GRP hull and aluminium superstructure, the 50 metre/164 foot Blake, from their Viareggio shipyard. Over 300 invited guests were there to watch this gorgeous new yacht slip into the calm Italian waters to begin her new adventures afloat.

Blake is the third hull in Benetti’s FB800 custom series to be launched to date. Her sleek exterior lines are the work of Benetti’s in-house team, while her charming interiors have been styled by London-based studio Bannenberg & Rowell. Her innovative lightweight hull design, which she shares with her two sister FB800 ships, coupled with low noise and vibration levels means she is ideally suited to adventurous long cruises all over the globe. At 11 knots she has an impressive range of 4000 nautical knots, allowing her fortunate owner to easily access remote islands or dive sites.

Onboard Blake the guest accommodation is spread across her three decks with four guest cabins found on the lower deck, a spacious owner’s suite on the main deck and the option to choose between an additional VIP suite or a relaxed lounge on the upper deck. In total, with the VIP cabin option, Blake can receive up to 12 overnight guests as well as 8 crew members to make sure every detail is taken care of.

Blake also stands out for her liveability thanks to a substantial amount of communal living spaces like her spacious sun deck, elegant inside dining area and beach club which boasts a large fold-out sea level swim platform. This stern area doubles as a tender garage which can store a 6.3 metre tender ideal for exploring, playing or simply running errands. These well-designed spaces and high levels of comfort will make it easy for her owner to enjoy extended periods onboard without the need for regular shore breaks.
