IMPERIAL Yachts has announced the successful launch of 50m aluminum superyacht M/Y ELSEA in collaboration with CCN. ELSEA’s exterior lines are the work of Studio Bacigalupo and the interior design has been created by Studio Vafiadis. IMPERIAL acted as the owner’s representative and managed construction during the build and following delivery.

ELSEA’s aggressive and sleek exterior profile contributes to a top speed of 27 knots with an average cruising speed of 18 knots made possible by 3 16V2000M94 MTU engines. The living spaces on board have been designed to ensure a great deal of gathering space for large groups both insides and outside. The Studio Vafiadis designed interior layout includes 5 luxurious staterooms plus a large owners suite. Keeping with the theme of large gathering areas ELSEA also boasts two large salons. The main deck salon includes a dining table for up to 12 guests. The second saloon can be converted into a cinema and is arranged for large and informal gatherings of family and friends.

Julia Stewart, IMPERIAL Director, said of the ELSEA launch: “IMPERIAL is particularly proud to launch the very first custom-made 50 CCN superyacht in strong collaboration with the yard, helping them to upgrade their capacities and reaching a new level in high-end creation. IMPERIAL’s team were actively involved in the project with the yard, and we thank CCN for their efforts to maintain the build process on very high standards.”

On launch day CCN CEO Diego Deprati also said, “I am particularly proud today – ELSEA was an important challenge for us as it opens to the shipyard new course. It is the first one-of-a-kind motoryacht which marks CCN’s debut in the world of “Fuoriserie” world-class bespoke projects – unique masterpieces that respond to the customers’ requirements for full customization. It further highlights our great versatility and its ability to meet the most diverse needs.”
