Proudly Italian shipyard Otam introduced a new concept yacht to the 35m (115’) custom range. Designed by Niccolò Pasquini and Alession Riccobaldi of the R+P Architecture studio, the lines are sleek and modern with aluminum construction.
Following the success of 35m M/Y Gipsy launched in 2016, the latest Otam custom yacht will have her own distinctive look and feel. Flexibility and adaptability are key, thereby giving a potential buyer the leeway to incorporate the features to suit their respective needs and preferences.
The main deck layout offers the owner over 50 square meters of space to do with as he wishes. Perhaps a large lounge area or spacious kitchen would be desirable? Otherwise, a dining area and/or a day toilet? In the end, the point is that the finished product is driven by the owner specifications. The personalization options are truly limitless.
Guest quarters are allocated approximately 70 square metres of space on the lower deck area and includes four generous VIP cabins. A good amount of space was also reserved for the crew quarters which includes three double cabins with separate access to ensure guest privacy.
This attention to guest privacy is also at the heart of the fore deck area which thanks to the height of the bulwarks, provides a sanctuary for sun bathing or perhaps a second dining area without the risk of being seen by passers by. The sun deck can be set up to include a Jacuzzi with sunbathing area and perhaps an L-shaped settee just aft of the bar counter.
Down in the garage and beach club, the space is just as flexible and open to a variety of custom configurations. Whether it be a dedicated children’s playroom or something a little more functional such as a diving and compressor room, you get the feeling that the sky is the limit.
