New Launch

Sanlorenzo Launches Fourth 460Exp Superyacht

Sanlorenzo has just announced the launch of the fourth hull in their 460Exp explorer yachts series at their shipyard in La Spezia. The 42.2 metre/138.45 foot yacht is currently known as Hull 128 and is part of a new generation of  Sanlorenzo luxury exploration yachts which offer high levels of comfort and style as well as excellent performance capabilities. Her sleek exterior is the work of Francesco Paskowski with Sanlorenzo responsible for the naval architecture and interior design.

Sanlorenzo launched their first 460Exp hull, Moka, back in 2016 and the model quickly caught the imagination of the industry. Weighing in at a modest 460 tonnes and with a range of over 5000 nautical miles, these go-getter yachts are ideal for adventurous owners seeking to reach ever more isolated and challenging destinations.

Offering an abundance of large open spaces across her decks, the 460Exp provides real flexibility to switch between exploration mode and serious downtime. Her deck layout can be given over to relaxation areas with comfortable sun loungers or converted to storage areas for tenders and bulky watertoys.

These outdoor spaces merge seamlessly into her interior where luxurious styling and generous amenities invite owners and their guests to rest and recuperate after a busy day exploring. Although Sanlorenzo has yet to release full details, it is understood that Hull 128 can receive up to 10 overnight guests in her five suites along with a total of 8 crew members.

Thanks to ambitious projects like the 460Exp, Sanlorenzo has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and recently acquired a dedicated 50,000 square metre site to allow the company to keep up with growing volumes of orders. Sanlorenzo currently have a total of 15 yachts under construction, of which four are models from the 460Exp series.
