A potent medley of A-list celebrities, the Hollywood film set, fashionistas and socialites makes the Cannes Film Festival an unmissable event in the yachting calendar. Nicely timed for the start of the Mediterranean season, this year’s extravaganza runs from the 8th to the 19th of May and will be attended by some of the world’s grandest superyachts which double as venues for star-studded festival parties.

The real luxury for Cannes attendees, though, is being able to retreat back to your own private yacht for a movie night with close friends and family. From outdoor cinemas under the stars to cosy romantic lounges scattered with comfy sofas, here’s our favourite superyacht home theaters for the ultimate Cannes experience.
