Three Racy Azimut Yachts to Debut at Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

One of the most anticipated events in the yachting calendar, the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show is the ideal opportunity for some of the world’s most exciting brands to show off their latest models. This year Italian shipyard Azimut Yachts will present three brand new models that are guaranteed to get pulses racing at the show, as well as presenting 14 additional yachts from across all five Azimut Collections.

“Azimut Yachts’ presence at the FLIBS is without doubt one of the most important moments in the season” commented Azimut Benetti USA President Federico Ferrante. “Azimut Yachts is the top foreign shipyard in the USA in terms of boats sold and second overall: my aim is for it to be number one in the space of two years. ‘Made in Italy’ provenance adds absolute value that is recognised and appreciated the world over, and particularly in this business area: it represents hand craftsmanship, care over detail, and the guarantee of high quality materials. But what people in the US admire most, of course, is Italian design, and Azimut yachts can boast partnerships with famous designers of undisputed value”.

Azimut Grande 25 Metri

The 25 Metri is the most compact yacht in the Azimut Grande range at 25 metres/82 feet. The racy exterior styling is the work of talented Italian designer Stefano Righini, while Achille Salvagni has created a series of light and airy interior spaces below decks. Of special note are the spacious living spaces which offer ample room for socialising with family and friends and her four attractive cabins which can receive up to 8 overnight guests. There are also dedicated crew quarters with capacity for three crew members.

Azimut S6

The second Azimut debut will be the 18 metre/59 foot S6 which boasts top-of-the-range performance enabled by the very latest technology. Thanks to three Volvo Penta IPS propulsion units, the S6 has an impressive top speed of 35 knots and a cruise speed of 30 knots which makes her ideal for coastal hopping. The use of Carbon Tech in her superstructure, sunroof, stern platform and part of the deck also helps to reduce weight and boost acceleration for an adrenaline-filled ride. Below decks you’ll find three well-appointed cabins which can receive up to 6 overnight guests and a generous combined lounge and dining area.

Azimut Atlantis 51

Azimut’s final debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2018 is the stunning 16 metre Altantis 51 who is sure to wow the crowds with her sporty looks and welcoming open cockpit and lounge design courtesy of Marco Biaggi and Filippo Salvetti from Neo Design. Ideal for sun worshippers and relaxed summer cruising with the family, Azimut has somehow managed to squeeze three cabins with space for five overnight guests and a spacious lounge and dining area into her compact form. As well as the impressive onboard amenities, the remarkable Atlantis 51 also boasts a top speed of 35 knots thanks to a pair of 600 hp Volvo 800 engines.
