Turquoise Yachts has just unveiled details of the gorgeous 253 foot/77 metre Quantum which is being described as “a quantum leap from any previous Turquoise yacht”. Based on Turquoise’s pre-existing 77-metre platform, Quantum has been tastefully styled on the inside and out by the prolific yacht designer and experienced sailor, Ken Freivokh.

One of Quantum’s most exciting features is the inclusion of two swimming pools located on the main and lower decks which offer guests the opportunity to choose between taking a refreshing dip in salt water or fresh water. Clever design work means the salt water pool also serves as a drive-in tender bay, while the fresh water pool boasts a glass bottom which channels natural light down into the beach club below. There is also a private jacuzzi accessible only from the owner’s suite which is located on the upper deck and has its own private saloon, pantry and cabin for a staff member like a nanny or bodyguard.

On the main deck there are six double and twin cabins which allow Quantum to receive a total of 14 overnight guests. There is the possibility to open out two of the guest suites to create a VIP suite with his and hers bathrooms and a private lounge space. On the main deck there is also an outdoor cinema for guests to enjoy and a formal dining area which can seat 14.

Other highlights include the central atrium which spans three of Quantum’s four decks and has transparent floor sections to create a sense of spaciousness and unity across the decks. There is also the dedicated bridge deck which boasts a semi-circular design and cutting edge touchscreen monitors as well as a comfortable seating area for guests to watch as the crew expertly navigate.
