Dutch powerboat builders Vanquish are set to showcase their brand-new VQ58 for the very first time at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival which takes place over the 10th to 15th of September. With a growing trend for larger powerboats, this 55 foot/16.6 metre beauty has quickly established a firm presence in the market with models already delivered to new owners in the United States, the Mediterranean and the Baltic.

The VQ58’s breathtaking design builds on that of Vanquish’s hugely successful VQ48 and features design work by Guido de Groot and naval architecture by Studio Delta. To ensure maximum flexibility, the model comes in four different variants: an open version, wheelhouse, T-top and a fully-enclosed hard-top. There is also a wealth of options when it comes to propulsion, layout, and colour schemes so every completed yacht should have a completely unique look.

Some of the options available include having a full-beam master suite ideal for longer cruises along with a VIP cabin and two comfortable bathrooms or a configuration with three cabins for larger groups. Alternatively, new owners can choose the day boat option which prioritises the interior spaces as party and lounge areas. There is also ample room for one or two garages for tenders and water toys. Owners can choose between the powerful standard propulsion system which gives a top speed of 38 knots or the  Veloce version with twin MAN V8 1200 hp engines providing 48-50 knots at full whack.

Those interested in viewing the VQ58 at the Cannes Yachting Festival will find her at berth SYE 026 in the SuperYacht Extension where Vanquish’s dedicated team will be on hand to answer any queries.
