Joining the impressive line-up of debuts at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show is the Wallytender 48 which continues to build the brand’s reputation as the go-to superyacht tender. The design of the 14.5 metre / 48 foot boat is based on that of the very first Wallytender and is the first model built under the Ferretti Group who is the brand’s new parent company.
Key features onboard include plentiful seating both fore and aft, a cabin equipped with a shower, and wrap-around fender which further improves safety. There is a cooktop, sink and refrigerator as well should you feel inspired to dine or simply prepare a cocktail or two while you admire the sunset. The brand-new model also features deeper bulwarks which is a useful enhancement especially for those with younger children.
As well as the creature comforts you’d expect from a luxury superyacht tender, the Wallytender 48 delivers on performance and speed. Her Volvo Penta IPS 650 engine gives a top speed of 38 knots and there is the option to add a gyroscopic stabilizer for a smoother cruising experience while underway. Her range is given as 300 nautical miles making her ideal for extended shore excursions or simply hopping along the coast in search of the very best beaches.
“The Wallytender has been a pure expression of the joy of open-air living on the sea and the sheer pleasure of day boating,” Luca Bassani, Wally’s founder, commented on the enduring success of the brand.
