Y.CO Wows Barcelona With M/Y Spirit and M/Y Air At MYBA Charter Show

Yacht charter, sales and management company Y.CO has been one of the leading agencies in the yacht world since their humble beginnings in Monaco in 2004 with just 10 employees. Today the firm boasts offices all over the world, over 120 staff members, and a host of loyal celebrity clients keen to snap up their carefully curated offerings. This year’s MYBA Charter Show was yet another chance for Y.CO to show what they can do in the intimate and lively Mediterranean setting of Barcelona’s OneOcean Port Vell, and the two superyachts they took along for the ride did not disappoint.

First up was the 178.15 foot/54.3 metre Spirit built by the Dutch shipyard AMELS whose sleek, modern lines were a perfect match for the elegant surrounds of OneOcean. With exterior styling by Tim Heywood and light, natural interiors courtesy of Nuvolari Lenard, she can comfortably receive and entertain up to 11 overnight guests in her 5 cabins. Her great selection of water toys and ample outdoor spaces make her ideal for both Mediterranean and Caribbean cruising and she is also the ideal party boat thanks to her huge sundeck which has capacity for up to 100 guests. Spirit is currently available to charter with Y.CO from $300,000 (€270,000) per week plus expenses.

Y.CO’s other impressive showing was the 163.71 foot/49.9 metre Air which is looking absolutely gorgeous after a full refit and aesthetic uplift in 2017. Built by stylish Italian shipyard Benetti, her interiors are the work of Terence Disdale who has gone for a beach house chic vibe throughout the yacht. Unusually for a yacht of her size, Air boasts 7 guest cabins which can accommodate up to 12 overnight guests making her ideally suited to large families with nannies or other accompanying staff members. Other standout features include the onboard masseuse, deck jacuzzi, wide range of water toys, and her relaxing beach club area. Air is available to charter through Y.CO from $195,000 (€175,000) per week plus expenses.
